(Sorry this is late! My bad!)
Welcome to the second day of the Waltzingmouse Stamps Feb Release previews! The DT and I will be sharing projects over the next several days featuring NINE new stamp sets that will be available for purchase at the Waltzingmouse online store starting March 1. Hope you have seen some things that you love but if not, today we're featuring Nordic Spring and Florentine Frippery.
Verily I Thank Thee Card
For the first card, I took one of the borders in Florentine Frippery and stamped it in several different colors. The sentiment also comes from the Florentine Frippery set. I added a button with a touch of white silk ribbon for fun.
Blessing Card
The butterfly is from the Nordic Spring set, which is filled with lots of great images. I stamped and embossed that in white. For a bit of texture, I embossed the white card stock with a texture plate. The sentiment is in the Florentine Frippery set.
Stop by the rest of the DT's blogs for some great inspiration!

That butterfly is cute! It looks like needlepoint from the photo!
ReplyDeleteBy the way did you see I made my own invitations for my son's birthday? You would've been proud! (although they were pretty basic... and I should've used cardstock instead of construction paper LOL). We have to all start somewhere though, right? :)
I'm totally in love with the color combo on your butterfly card!
ReplyDeleteooo I love the top card. I love the border stamp, your use of it, and the colors you used.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the addition of texture with the embossing and the cross stitched look of the butterfly.
ReplyDeleteLove the multicolor stamping on the frippery Belinda and your white embossed pink butterfly is so striking against the white embossed card!
ReplyDeleteOh pretty, PRETTIES! Spectacular embossed butterfly that pops with the embossing on the pink. Love the sweet colorful scrolls on the first!
ReplyDeleteOh I do like the Florentine Frippery card - very elegant!
ReplyDeleteI wondered yesterday...
ReplyDeletedon't you just hate when Blogger messes with you?
This are both fabulous...
love the Frippery...
a gorgeous CAS!!
And that butterfly...
LOVE!!
Beautiful CAS cards. I get a kick out of the expressions.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love your CAS style. And the Blessing card just shouts spring to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the embossed butterfly - that whole card is so great with the background and the color combo. And the simple design of your first card really lets those images shine!
ReplyDeleteI love the addition of border stamps; never have enough to use with all the current die
